For those of you who, like me, have become addicted to the Walking Dead television series (and books; mustn't forget the books), here is an opportunity to take that addiction to the next level. According to Atlanta Magazine (where I got the pic from, which they got from TWDE) you can sign up as either a survivor or a walker. As a survivor, you have to fight your way through several "zombie-infected evacuation zones." As a walker, you will be "zombiefied" by professional make-up artists, and set loose on those ragtag bunch of tasty humans. Apparently, you can pay extra, and run as both. The Escape will take place at Philips Arena on May 31. You may pick times between 6 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Spectator tickets are $20, but to run as a survivor will cost you $75, and $95 as a walker. To do both? A cool $150. The prices are a little steep for my, ahem, blood. So I'm counting on any of you who do go, to report, in full, your experience!
You can go here to get the full scoop, or to purchase tickets.
