The bad news: time continues to be something of an elusive commodity with me. I've got a day job that steals gobs of it. I've got a wife and kid who deserve real, quality time, and I've got sleep, which also deserves quality time, despite being something of an unwelcome guest.
These are challenges, yes. But they are also opportunities, and I will continue to see them as such. This, after all, is the prize, isn't it? The goal? To build a career as a writer/artist? So, even as I curse getting up in the morning to go to work for money to pay the rent, I relish the thought of those too-few slices of time when I'll be able to sit with my muse and let my creative juices flow. Freak what you heard, folks. These are truly the best of times!
Until next time, people,
Chris
