I love the fall season in general. There's something about it that gets my creative juices flowing like nobody's business. For some people, it's the spring time, when the earth is awakening from its winter slumber, and the trees and plants are in bloom. For me, it's when the trees begin showing their first signs of fall color that I feel my batteries charge. I think it's just the way my brain is wired. And I'm not alone. I've come across some very like-minded people, folks who love their scares year-round and live in perpetual anticipation of the fall in general, and Halloween in particular. Some of those people are also creative types, and as the summer comes to a close over the next month, I think it'll be a lot of fun to talk about some of my favorites, maybe put something on your radar you haven't heard of before. And I invite anyone reading this to do the same. Think of it as a way of enriching our ghoulish community.
For some of you, I'm sure it's too soon. Like Christmas in July (and, yeah...that's a real thing, apparently. Whatevs). But for the rest of you? The people rubbing their hands together in glee at the thought of finally being able to let your inner demons out for a romp? Our time is coming!
See you again soon!
Chris
