Well, now. It's been a while, and some really, really cool things have happened. First off, I've upgraded the site. It's time. It's been time. But I've been positively crammed with life stuff, and there's the expense, and, well, you get the picture. Anyway, I pulled the trigger on that one, and while you may not see any difference yet, I am working on making this a better, more professional-looking site. And as I get things up and running, such as the option to register for updates, buy things on the site, etc., I will let you know.
But that's just the appetizer. The real news, the real REAL news, is that I've got a paid writing gig! Yep, you heard me. Christopher Collins is about to be a published author!
The job is writing for a game called Arkham Investigator, in development by 8th Summit Games. It is a role playing game based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft, and let me tell you, this is going to be fun times! The game should be coming out some time in 2016 (Don't worry, I'll let you know. You'll probably get sick of hearing about it, and I apologize for that in advance).
Beyond this being a paid gig, I am just so ridiculously excited about having my work in print, I can't even begin to tell you! It's the goal of all us wannabes, and to see that as a pending reality, and not just some pipe dream, is stupid cool! I will update as things develop. And I will continue to work on the site. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear 'em. Until next time!
